In Isaiah 61 we find one of the most exciting prophecies of salvation through God's servant, the Messiah, for a lost and dying world. In this lesson we look at God's plan through the Christ and how He was sent to save us FROM our sins and their destructive consequences in our lives. And, as is so very true of our God, He does not stop at salvation, but through the Messiah continues to work on our lives, bringing transformation from sadness, heartbreak, and imprisonment, to joy and freedom.
